This is really closer to a 2.5 star review. I began reading Elin Hilderbrand books this past summer and I've thoroughly enjoyed them all up until this one. None of the characters were especially likeable and the premise was just not executed very well. It seemed like too many story lines were shoved into one book.

Beautiful day was a BEAUTIFUL READ ugh wow I love weddings and I love love!! The way Elin writes about love is always going to be a top tier experience to read - I just adore it!! I enjoyed the characters and the plot and especially the rh descriptions of how to plan the wedding for Jenna, written by the mother in the journal every detail was so beautifully described. I liked the overall happy feelings in the book and I did like the way that the book ended.
This one really leaves me, wondering about the characters and wanting to know where they would be now or in the future and how their lives turn out after the decision they chose to proceed with.
