Great beach read. Loved the setting of Nantucket and easy to follow storyline. The outtakes added some humor as well.
I didn’t love most of the characters in this book. Everyone seemed so selfish throughout the course of the wedding weekend - for one reason or another. The story itself was fine, but the unlikeability of the characters lowered my rating.

I don't agree with the reviews saying Hildebrand has lost her touch. I thought she regained her appeal with this novel. Always Nantucket, always family issues, but I liked the characters and story line. Jenna and Margot's mom died, leaving behind a notebook of suggestions for Jenna's wedding, which she would not be alive for. Margot is a strong character, finding her way through the land mine of family problems. Read it!
I've been craving beach reads that are set on a beach/island. This one hit the spot. I enjoyed it and looked forward to getting back to the story. Not at all life changing or memorable, just a nice little beach read.
Nothing too amazing but it did the job as a fun quick summer read.
Gabby (a book reader, spectator of this shit show): I disliked all of the characters. So much drama, and I was rolling my eyes half the time in which I feel like I went cross eyed.
I feel like I could’ve gotten this same drama browsing on my FB timeline in less that 50 words which I would’ve dived in on the comments to get a daily dose of tea.
However this was a good read, not normally my cup of tea since I like thrillers, and I do read stories like this, but much less drama and this one was just pissing me off, and I wanted to know how it ended, which is why I read this to the end. The notebook part was a very nice touch.
Anybody else wanted to strangle Helen?
