I liked this book, in the beginning it was quick to catch my attention, but it became too predictable, and the ending was not surprising at all. I really like Alice Feeney’s style of writing so I will read another of her books but this one just wasn’t anything special.

It didnt surprise me that I loved this book because I am a huge Feeney fan but the writing in this one was exceptional. Fast paced, suspenseful and even funny at times, I loved

Did not enjoy my previous outing with Alice Feeney so I was surprised to find this one really enjoyable. It was engaging, the spunky old lady is fun, and while the plot was predictable, I didn’t find myself cranky about it at all. A good time.
I will say though, HUGE fucking problem with the audiobook. Big mistake made there, if I didn’t enjoy the book for what it was the deception in the audiobook would have plummeted this to a 2 star or lower.

It felt like there were about 4 people in the entire city. Too many coincidences and overlapping (?) but overall a good book, just not one of my favs from the author
