I read this book for one reason only: I saw the movie, had a crush on Clay (the only actor who could actually act) and because of that saw the movie 7 times. The movie is so bad based on the acting and how the director chose to interpret certain scenes but I liked it anyway, because of Clay Kincade. So, what about the book? It was much better than the movie, very easy to read and above all the strong scenes were more descriptive and so much more spicy. In the movie they toned the sex scenes down and made it appropriate for a YA tv series. So it was really bad. Overall I kind of enjoyed the book. It was such an easy read and because of Clay Kincade. I won’t read the other books in the series, since they are about the other Kincade brothers. I want to know how the love story evolve, but i’m not interested enough to read the other books. Had I read the books if i hadn’t seen the movie? I don’t think so. But: Clay Kincade has a special place in my heart.

This was an easy one to listen to. Nothing spectacular that stood out but nothing that made it bad either. Rich girl gets to play poor with a secretly rich tortured soul.

A girl walks into a bar...

What happens when an Uptown Girl connects with a man from the other side of the tracks? Pure chemistry, plain and simple. Samantha Jamieson has never wanted for anything. Living a life of privilege, she's never lacked anything, except unconditional love and the chance to live life on her terms. Clay Kincaid's childhood is the stuff of nightmares, but he's finally put his past behind him, creating a life that he can be happy with. When Samantha, running from a fate that she can't abide, finds herself in Clay's bar, it isn't long before 'Saint' Clay comes riding to the rescue, and life as they know it takes a most interesting detour.

I have long been a fan of both Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde, so imagine my delight in finding out that these two fabulous ladies were collaborating on a sexy new series. DIRTY SEXY SAINT takes the best of both of these authors and gives readers a brand new set of characters to get to know and love. Samantha is the kind of heroine that I love to read. She's sassy, spunky, and, although her nickname may be Cupcake, she very quickly learns to hold her own. Clay is one heck of a hot alpha, but he's more than a stereotype. With a childhood fraught with abuse and desperation, he's locked down emotionally, although he's a sucker for a lost cause. He hasn't earned the nickname of 'Saint' for nothing, and it isn't long before he's helping Sam figure out her life, while she helps him in ways that he never anticipated.

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. There is heat galore, intrigue, drama, and the kind of characters that you want more of. I can't wait to get to know Clay's brothers, Mason and Levi, better, and am thrilled that they will each get their own book. 4.5 dirty, sexy, sweet, naughty stars for DIRTY SEXY SAINT. Add this one to your TBR and thank me later.

When Clay Kincaid finds a drunk little rich girl in his bar he takes her in and takes care of her. It turns our Samantha Jamison is an heiress who has left everything behind when her parents wanted to force her to marry the man of their choice.
So begins Dirty Sexy Saint by Carly Phillips and Erica Wilde. I had never read anything by either author but will definitely be adding them to my list of authors to watch. The characters both are struggling with their pasts but together, they make each other better. What starts out as a fun time turns into true love and a wonderful Happily Ever After.

Clay is the epitome of an alpha male, but it's second nature for him to help others, even though helping out Samantha Jamieson may cost him his peace of mind later on, considering being around her tempts his sanity to no end. I liked how these two main characters were able to bring out a side of each other that proved that they were far more suited than either one may have expected in the beginning. Clay was a highly likable hero, not just because of how he took care of Samantha, but also how he put his brothers first and how he continued to pay the kindness given to him forward. He may claim to be more sinner than saint, but the man is totally book boyfriend worthy. And then there's Samantha, who isn't some spoiled heiress. I loved her desire to be the woman she wants to be, not the one she's trained and expected to be.

Clay and Samantha's love story was sexy and sweet, and it served as such a great series starter, introducing readers to not just Mason and Levi Kincaid, but also to Katrina Sands, Mason's best friend and the manager of his tattoo shop. Even the people working in Kincaid's as well as Samantha's parents and ex-boyfriend were interesting, and I'm not all that sure whether they'll be earning in the two other books, but I'm glad that they weren't simply placed in the story for decorative purposes; rather, their presence provided greater insight into the kind of people Clay and Samantha were and how they led their lives. There were certainly a couple of surprises and the story, so kudos to the authors for keeping me on my toes. Dirty Sexy Saint is every bit the dirty and sexy read it promises to be and it deserves to get five stars. ♥
