An enjoyable start to this new series, it did take me a few chapters to get into the story though, mainly because I didn't connect with Samantha straight away, and I did find the story a little unbelievable at times (More so in the beginning). That being said though I loved Clay, his brothers Mason and Levi and friend Katrina, and I will certainly be buying Mason's story when its released in a few months time.
As for this one, it was a very sweet, easy read with no angst, a few hot moments, and I did in the end get drawn into the story (especially the last 25% of the book) and came to really like Samantha. So I would certainly recommend it to others. Especially fans of Chelsea Cameron's Caldwell Brothers and Marie Harte's McCauley Brothers series of books.

I’m a big fan of Carly so I was excited to hear she had a new series and with Erika Wilde. This is a fantastic start to a series. I'm already hooked and can't wait for more. Clay is a sexy bar owner who loves no strings dirty, filthy sex. Until one day Samantha stumbles into his bar. He can't help but want to take care of her and save her from whatever she's running from. He's known as Saint Clay, but he feels more like a sinner. Samantha sees something in Clay and now that she's away from her family she wants to experience hot, dirty sex with him. Clay knows he should stay away from her, but he wants her something fierce. He wants to show her how dirty things can get and oh man, does he! When Clay's past comes back to haunt him, he might lose Samantha before he has a chance to tell her how he feels. I enjoyed this story! Clay and Samantha have crazy hot chemistry, but also have more than that. I can't wait for Mason and Levi's stories!

Ok so Samantha (my sisters name so already totally cool) is betrothed (not really steered is a better word) to be married to a man she only kinda like and she was going to dump because things just weren't working out.... Well daddy didn't like this because it was a business deal kind of thing and said you marry or I cut you off. So she left and he cut her off.
She finds herself far from home and drinking in a bar, (I so would have done the same thing props girl)
She meet none other than Clay Kincaid, owner of said bar. He takes pity on her when she can't pay her tab.
Things get kind of funny and icky.. But oh wait for it.. Things get HOT HOT HOT...
Clay hasn't had the best childhood or past and that is something he has to deal with.
Not only do things start to heat way way up but he finds out that she likes it just as dirty and steamy as he does..
This really was a great read/listen. One I will read again it was light heart'd a good fast and hard read. Like how I got that in there. ;) I want to be Clay's Cupcake :(

This was a fun & sexy book. I enjoyed the light story line and the sweet and hot relationship. I normally hate insta-love in books but this didn't feel instant at all. It is very rare that an author can pull this off and these authors did it perfectly. The narration was good too! I will be moving right on to book 2!

So this book right here totally sells me on books by Carly Phillips. This was a five star, very HOT read! We've got three brothers for the stories in this series, and the first brother was nicknamed "Saint", because he seemed to take in every person or animal that he found on the streets that needed help. Including the main female character in this, Samantha. I loved the chemistry, I loved how Clay/Saint was completely honest about how he would be with her and all that she should expect from him. I loved the brothers, and I love how it all worked out with Samantha's family in the end.
