9.5/10 - THIS BOOK Y’ALL, i’m in love, one of my fav tropes is forced proximity & LOVED this version, also we LOVE a strong independent female lead in a book who doesn’t need a man but one lands in her lap, like yes queen, HOWEVER, the 1/2 point i doc’ed this book for was due to the lack of spice, now i have been know to fast forward or skip a few pages through the spicy spicy books, BUT THIS NEEDED MORE, just a smidge, just a touch, it goes from “i’m counting the buttons on his pajamas one by one as i unbutton them” to starting a new chapter with, “we woke the next morning and took a shower together if you know what i mean wink wink nudge nudge” LIKE THE BOOK ACTUALLY SAID WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE, but other than that FANTASTIC, READ IT, and i’ve already started the part 2, practice makes perfect (:

This was exactly what I needed, a great celebrity lands in small town and rethinks her life romance story in a town I very much want to visit and a pair I genuinely liked. Now, I want pie.

If you ever the want the blueprint of how a romance book should not be written, you got it. It felt more like diary entry of a 10 year old than the published works of a grown woman.
