Quaint little murder mystery. Nothing spectacular, but was a nice read.

This was a cute little cozy. As I am a newbie #knitteroflitsy I enjoyed the knitting scenes & as a #hookeroflitsy I liked that they had a crocheter in their group. The murders were interesting & each suspect was eliminated logically. It moved a bit slowly but I did not mind. One weird thing - how much toast can Pamela eat?!? She seems to lives on

I enjoyed this mystery though I'm not sure the author actually knits or has even been to a knitting group.. I guess some of them could be super regimented. All the groups I've been part of you knit, talk and drink coffee/tea and snack at the same time. Some of the knitting talk seemed off and just thrown in.

Others will enjoy the book, I had a hard time connecting to the editing of the story (I found it too wordy, slow and focused on details that didn’t matter). The mystery was interesting, so I’m glad I tried it out as this isn’t my typical genre.

First let me tell you that I listened to it on audio from my library.
This was a cute cozy kinda predictable but cute. The narrator read the story very well and the author wrote it very well. The only issue I had with it was that it kinda slowed down toward the middle but the ending and the killer I never suspected. Definitely will continue the series.

Loved the plot but no interest in the characters and there was this one really weird scene where the author used the protagonist to objectify a man and use him to further the mystery plot
