What the fuck did I just read? Like its good, but so many times I just stopped and thought “WTF?” 

There’s only a few elements to pinpoint the timeline, but it just feels rushed and not at the same time. There’s an element of Lord of the Flies (but better) and Station Eleven to it all.

This is a quiet horror. The kind of creepy, unsettling book that makes the reader reflect on themselves. Horrific because the horror elements are realistic, current and future problems we will face.

I loved the sarcasm and humor, but ultimately the biblical parallels were a little too heavy-handed for me.
