A fun book about pirates that shows you can do the job definitely than others but it's ok.

Very cute. Trying to mix it up for story time and she liked this one.

The detailed illustrations elevate this endearing story of a very small pirate who isn't appreciated by the other pirates on board the Rusty Squid until he is pushed overboard and they realize how valuable he is. Kids will love this as a read aloud and it could lead into a powerful discussion about acceptance.

I was not impressed by the story line and my son was upset by how poorly treated Saul was and neither of us were convinced that the pirates would have a change of heart in the way they did. Cute story though.

Adorable! What's not to love about a pie-making, sea-shanty-singing, interior designer pirate?

I have been waiting for this one for a while so I was happy to finally find it. A fun story about a pirate who doesn't quite fit in but finds his place after all.

I don't think my kiddos got it; the pictures were a little too small and much of the story relied on the visuals.
