Not me  Extremely conflicted between 4 and 5 stars
But this was so good holy!!! The tension, the revenge, VAUGHN. The only reason i am unsure about the 5 stars is that i don't have that "i will definitely reread this" which i always have with 5 star reads😫
But i ordered the whole series as paperpack and will definitely read the rest 🫣  yet another book to the tbr........

This book is on another level of "is your mental state tough enough to read this". I didn't expect it to be so dark and torturing. The romance as always was on point, but it was so tense to see how it all works out and if they even can have a HEA. Vaughn is a tortured artist with a lot of demons and baggage in his past. Lenora is a tough and feisty character with abandonment issues. I do love this series, but the level of disturbance I got from this book is above average. Maybe I should have read the trigger warnings, but I would have read the book nonetheless. Read with caution and don't take fiction too seriously, it's all imagined and not real. Every-fucking-shade of fucked-up is not real in this book. So don't have nightmares, just be sad for the characters.
