this book was pretty average lmao - i pretty much only read it for the scene where lenny makes pope do that in front of vaughn LOL. like i knew from that much this book wasn't gonna be great but there are so many elements of toxic masculinity and misogyny that it was hard for me to read in parts lmfaoo. the characters weren't super likeable and i think vaughn's character growth lowkey came from nowhere bc he was such a static character from the beginning. like overall its fine for a no-effort read but like it also made me feel guilty with the kind of misogyny present so LOL
tbh one of the best things about this book were the vicious cameos.
i liked vaugh and lenny to a certain extent, but i'm not going to lie, i was bored at some point.
lj shen needs to put trigger warnings because one of the scenes is unnecessarily explicit and could potentially be very triggering.
this book is honestly more of a 1.5 star read, im being nice giving it a 2.
