I loved his work again, but it didn't stick with me the way his first volume did. I only found a select few that I was absolutely desperate for.

Beautiful.

Nothing negative to say, but obviously not every poem can hit the same. My favourite ones were Dear Peter, The Punctum and Not Even — a million stars for those.

Vuong has such a masterful way with words and it’s beautiful to read. I will admit some poems did fall flat for me but I admired and loved the majority of them.
