This is like a level 11, so some of you all will not be ready for all of this business. I still found it to be an enjoyable read, even though it's not my typical subgenre. And I'm always here for good Buffy/Angel fanfic vibes.

The story line was interesting however some parts were very repeatitive and the beginning was slightly confusing to be thrown into. I really did enjoy the characters and the way the story ended up. I just think that maybe this writing style is not for me because there was alot of information thrown at you at once from both characters and it was slightly confusing.

Oh. My. God.
This is the filllllllllthiest book I've read in a long time. This steers very closely into erotic romance, with this second chance, lovers-to-enemies-to-hate-fucking-to-lovers, kinkiest shit between a hellmouth guardian and a shifter snake demon. This probably won't be to everyone's taste but I really loved it. This is the three-day relationship in this book series I believe the most (so far, still three books to go - all the books take place over the three days of the Shadow Market at the same time but only tangentially connected via setting or vague reference to something going on elsewhere) because the main characters already know one another and so we don't have the hurdle of instalove to get over.
