Crow Winter

Karen McBride

3.96 AVERAGE

I got this book in a mystery bundle bag at a writer's event. The cover is crisp and the formatting is solid and easy to follow. The artwork is stunning. Nevertheless, it's not my usual genre. I found the Native American themes educational and I liked the crow motif. The writing was shallow, however, and the dialogue cliché. The relationships felt forced and unoriginal. The characters were bland. The plot was barely present. Overall, I couldn't get through it.
