I wish I had liked this more.
Serena's writing style is really appealing to me but I felt like this book was lacking in plot. It felt like I was being told the story of the little mermaid all over again and nothing more.
Though I liked reading about Ursula's origins, I wish her story would've been more developed.
Something that really put me off was the use of actual movie lines in the book. I wish it had been a bit different.
It wasn't a "bad" read, just not my favorite.

I liked this book, but not as much as the previous two. In the previous books, it really focused on the main characters in the titles; this book didn’t. I was confused a bit, there was much jumping around and I still do not feel like I have as much of a back story on Ursula as I got from the previous two books. That said, I like the characters in the books and feel as though I’m really getting to know that. I find myself wondering more and more about the three odd sisters and just who is nanny and what is her past. What happens with Princess Tulip? What about Circe? I definitely cannot wait to read the rest of this fun series.

I don't like her style of writing and I just feel like I'm reading the script for the little mermaid film

This is the 3rd book in the Disney Villain book series. In this story we hear more about the Old Sisters and that their sister has gone missing. Also, we learn more about Tulip and her Nanny. Of course we follow the little mermaid story also. And last we find out why Ursula has so much hate in her. This is a quick story with many stories inside of it.

After book 2 I had higher hopes for this one. It was better with actually learning about Ursula and how she came to her hatred.

In the beginning they told her story a bit fast and it could have been told broader.

The addition if princess Tulip and her Nanny from book 2 still puzzles me. They were very mysterious about the background of the Nanny. In the end I was reading more about her and the Odd Sisters than actually Ursula and the Little Mermaid.
