“P-punishment?” Raf’s eyes widened. Brendan nodded. “Yes, because naughty boys should get punished, don’t you think?” Raf looked puzzled. “When you say it like that, with your voice all low and sexy, it doesn’t sound like punishment.”

I don’t really have tons of thoughts about this one, other than that it was a well written book about a young man with ADHD and depression trying to find his place/people in this world. Up until this point he hadn’t found that one kink that really spoke to him. He finds a really patient and sweet older Daddy who introduces him to age play.

I enjoyed that it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows all the way through. It’s still low angst and sweet, but maybe not as sugary sweet as some other D/l books tend to be.

His mind had conjured up about a million things that could go wrong, and he hadn’t even tried all that hard.

Definitely a few editing/proofing issues that took me out of the story at times, but I still enjoyed it.

Raf and Brendan's story was so adorable. I loved both of their characters and I loved all the adorable af scenes.

Raf and Rhys' friendship warmed my heart and I loved their dynamic as much as I loved Raf and Brendan's relationship. Absolutely loved the book.

Reread 02/2021: Why did I think I could reread this without wanting to reread the other two books? I adore Raf and Brendan but now I want to read Rhys and Cornell's story again. And Master Ford's.

An absolutely adorable, comfort/healing Daddy ABDL story that runs mostly parallel in time to book 1 in this series. Due to a rough childhood and ADHD, Raf struggles to find find his happy place. Daddy Brenden overhears a conversation between Raf and Rhys and makes things all better. My only complaint is that I wish the time jumps were a little clearer.

We were introduced to Brendan and Raf once they were already a couple in Firm Hand (book #1) so you were generally aware that this would be low angst between the couple.

It was nice seeing where the connection between the two of them started and how Brendan was always looking for someone to take care of. Raf coming from what looks like an emotionally abusive household leads to miscommunication between the couple as they are trying to find their way in the Dominate/submissive relationship as punishment is a large aspect and Raf has past trauma around receiving punishments.

This book really emphasized how important communication is between any and all relationships.

Aside from the lovey dovey aspect of Brendan and Raf, let's just say the sex scenes were extra spicy. AND if you go for the bonus story, you'll need to prepare yourself!

I'm not usually one for age play or ABDL, but this book was sweet. I don't know if there will be more in this series, but I'll definitely read them.

Incredibly sweet and moving! One of the best ageplay romances I've read so far.
I loved that Brendan, as the daddy, also had some insecurities to deal with and wasn't perfect and all-knowing. Brendan was so sweet and loving with Raf though

This book. I remember sitting and reading it all at once. That's how good this was. I cannot explain to you how much I enjoyed this. I was on a binge of DDLG/B romances at the time and I saw this come up in my recommendations. I'm glad that I did because I enjoyed this so much. It did make me cry because our main character was a teacher's assistant for a while and there was this kid that came out as trans to him and it made me cry so hard because her parents didn't approve. That broke my damn heart so bad. Besides from that I enjoyed my time reading this and if you see me reread this in the future, no you don't so mind your buisness.
