At first I wasn't sure I'd like it, but once the show started and we got to see Bea start some serious growth it was a fun experience. Nice to see an asexual character in the mix. Her relationship with the series producer wasn't entirely believable but the romance was fun and it's good to see a plus size woman whose whole story isn't about changing her weight.

I really enjoyed this book. I feel like it’s so important to tell stories about all women and I just thought this book was so well done. Hearing her process through her insecurities in the book as she came to terms with her newfound fame was really incredible. The author did an amazing job of presenting that.

I didn't expect much from this book, but ending up enjoying it. Bea is very likable and it's easy to relate to her. The emotions she goes through feel real. She agrees to be the star in a reality show. It's a bumpy ride. It was hard to guess how the book was going to end, since there were multiple options

Really fun read! Definitely recommend if you're a fan of reality TV and/or fashion. I'm only kind of into reality TV and don't care at all for fashion, hence the three stars. But still a great read for the right crowd!

One to Watch was a pleasurable surprise. I was unsure when I picked this up at Target, but as a fat person, I’m always in search of stories about fat people. One to Watch is body positive, empowering, and discusses the lived experiences of fat women. I’m adding a trigger warning for fatphobia and the feelings that come with experiencing that.
This is a wonderful book, however, and I can’t recommend it enough. I can’t wait for another book by Kate Stayman-London.
