I’m still not sure what to think about this book, the ending left me confused and questioning everything. Not a fan
It was very well-written and compelling. It was also horrifying and disturbing. If you’re a horror or thriller reader you’ll probably love it but if not, despite the fact that it’s a good book, you may not enjoy it.
Figured out the ending really early on and found it blah to get through it after that. Plus I have a major issue with one of the plot points that made NO sense.

Meh. Started off super slow, and I wasn't sure I was going to keep going. The ending did kind of make me question things, but this is certainly not something I need to re-read to follow up on my thoughts. Positive note: I checked this off my TBR.
Tremendous. Ingenious construction. Well written. An ending I did not see coming.

This was an extremely intense and uncomfortable read for me. As someone prone to anxiety I felt panicked when reading Caroline’s manic thoughts and actions, and from that point of view was glad to be done with this book. Also for that reason I can’t say I enjoyed it, but it gets 4 stars because I couldn’t put it down. The premise is very clever, a totally original plot, with a couple of revelations in part 2 which turns everything on its head. The writing quality though is not consistent, I started out identifying with Caroline’s observations on being a suburban stay at home mum, her thoughts on how much of your true self you reveal to others in order to fit in and comparing being a School mum to actually being back in school yourself particularly resonated with me. Despite being a tough read for me, the fast paced train of thought passages really do make you feel how caroline must be feeling, confused and panicked, but then there are other places where the writing seems immature, plus the author is way too concerned with bladder control. Need a couple of days back in real life to get over this one.
This was a combination of Monster, Red Bull, and 5 espresso shots all in one read. A tempting google search starts off what was a roller coaster ride for me. Quick unput-downable story that intrigued me until the end.
This was one of the craziest and most disturbing books I have ever read. It was compelling and a quick read but there were some major plot holes and I never really liked the main character/narrator.
