It’s not very often that I read nonfiction and when I do I usually find it a bit of work but this book just got me in all the feels.  I think that’s due in great part to my deep love for Remarkably Bright Creatures and this feels like it had to be the basis for it. I also got to see a Pacific Northwest octopus at an aquarium so that made it even closer to my heart.

I enjoyed this, there is so much about nature, especially the ocean that I know nothing about. I really enjoyed the Octopus information. I never realized they were so smart. I also did not realize there were so many species of Octopi.

I loved what I learned about octopuses, but overall was underwhelmed with the writing.
