I saw a stage performance of The Vagina Monologues when I was in college and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Reading it brought back fond memories of that time, and one of the first times I was able to claim the term "feminist" for myself. It was an eye-opening experience for me, and I love reflecting on the growth I've made since then.

Eve Ensler has compiled a raw, unfiltered collection of essays from women of all walks of life, worldwide. To hear their stories is heartbreaking, angering, and empowering. The movement that she started has expanded into something that I don't think she ever would have imagined, and has taken the world by storm.

This is, by far, the BEST book I have ever read in my entire life. Every girl and woman should read this book. Hell, EVERYONE should read this book. If you are female, reading this book will be a religious experience. It changed my life. Please, do everything you can to get your hands on this book. You will sob, guttural, from a place deep within your vagina, and laugh from that same place.
