I love this series! It’s so freaking cute 🥰 I’ve been waiting for these two and I’m so glad we finally got to see them find their way back to one another.

This book pulled at my heart strings from the beginning. The prologue was so heartbreaking. “How can we both be so completely on the same side when it comes to our feelings but be on polar opposite ones when it comes to what we need from our relationship?” This right here was the basis of the book and what Davey and Mack had to work through.
Love was not their problem. Even when they were no longer married, they were each still each other’s rock and you could feel the love they had for each other. Reading how they grew apart then how they reconnected and how they did the work for each other to be what each other needed was amazing.
This book will make you take a hard look at your life and your own relationships. It gets you in the FEELS. It is a prime example of how differing and even perceived priorities can tear down a relationship no matter how strong the feelings are.
Saxon did a great job diving into why Mack and Davey were feeling the way they were. Why Mack felt abandoned and not prioritized. Why Davey felt that working too hard WAS prioritizing Mack and his family.
And the issues were not one-sided. I liked this. There were pre-conceived notions on both sides that they each had to work through. They both had to make changes and adjustments. And while of course, they get their HEA in the end, it’s not without compromise and some sacrifice and I loved that. It made it relatable to real life.
This was a great ending to the DMC series. We get to see all the characters throughout the book. It was truly a joy to read.

This is the last book of the Divorced men club and it's bitter sweet to end this one. I loved the books so much but this one might be my fave. It's a second chance romance where the two main men were married before which makes it even more angsty.
Mack choose to divorce Davey cause he is a workaholic and was never home for him and the kids. But seeing Davey travels a lot and is only home for short periods of time, even after the divorce he stays at Mack's house when he is in town. Now he is home for twelve weeks over Christmas and it's the longest Davey has been home since before they married. Mack still loves Davey and kinda wants to make a plan and get Davey to stay and get back together. Davey also wants things to change.
I loved this book so much. Both Mack and Davey were so intriguing and I loved reading about them. Second chance/marriage in trouble is a trope I don't often read but really enjoy. This one did such a great job at it as I didn't ignore the problems that were there for them to get divorced in the first place. Definitely recommend this one if you are looking for a small town second chance queer romance!
Thanks to Foreword PR for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
It should be said that I adore the entire Divorced Men’s Club series, these friends who love and care for each other so deeply. Have each other's back. Celebrate every milestone. Consol as needed. But I especially adore Roommate Arrangement with Beau and Payne. Those two live rent-free in my head and are absolute couple goals.
I do believe that Forgotten Romance, Davey and Mack, have tied with those boys. Their stories and the vibes are vastly different, but oh how they knocked me off my feet. It came with a sprinkle of tears throughout, plenty of shaking my head, and finally a whole lot of swooning.
Two men who are undoubtedly meant for each other but can’t seem to figure out how to make it work. Somehow they forgot to work as a team and got lost in their own emotions and worries. One carries the burden of providing, the other has lost their sense of self.
The growth, internal and as a couple, was such an integral part of this story and just kept you glued to the pages to see how it would work out. How they would find their way.
I really wish this wasn’t the end, but I’ll be grateful for the 6 and a half stories that Saxon gave us.
I don't normally like second chance romance but I really really enjoyed Mack and Davey! They gave me all the heart tingles and had me rooting for them through the whole book. This was an amazing way to end the series. I can't wait for what Saxon James has next.

That was the perfect ending!
Of course, a sad one since these men were really amazing, but reading Davey and Mack's story in the finale left a sweet taste.
This couple is definitely the best one in the series. My apologies to the rest of the men but these two are just sweet, sexy and irresistible.
I love second chances when they are well deserved and this one, it surely is.
Another plus was the appearance of every single DMC member. They all helped our MCs in finding their happily ever after and surprisingly, not so surprisingly according to him, Art was the best help ever.
P.s. I might have shed a tear or two!
We do say goodbye to this series but we definitely do not say goodbye to Saxon and her stories!
