This is an incredible book. Something about reading God as a character just felt very intimidating and I will never forget that feeling. This book was very tragic and Lucifer is a character that I hold dear to me. As well as Michael and everyone else. His relationship with Michael was so beautiful and heartbreaking and I know book 2 will be just as great and sad. I think this book could have benefitted from having specific perspectives and not just constantly switching around whenever Lucifer wasn’t in a room because that was kind of confusing. At some points I felt like there were too many internal thoughts as well. This is an amazing book and one I think about almost everyday.

I just couldn’t get into it.

I just can't go on. Painfully slow and poetic language that seems just for the sake of being poetic.

This book is moving throughout my skeleton at every moment and it is becoming me and I feel truly ill

It was a bit slow going and had a weird tone and speech but I also suck at understanding that type of stuff. It’s also good to note that this type of book benefits from the type or language that it has. It feels old timey much like the Bible does and funny enough I’m almost as confused as I was back when I was little and having to read the Bible every day of my life. /hj

In all honesty though I enjoyed this book and the experiences Lucifer went through. I feel as if I relate with him a little too much even in questioning God himself. When I was a child and in a traumatic religious setting, I had all the same questions Lucifer did. It feels nice having a book that expresses all that confusion and pain.

Thank you Rafael Nicolás!!
