This was more believable than the Bible’s version. Beautifully written and very layered. Heavy on emotion. Yes, this is a gem that shines as bright as the Light.

Good god. This is the last time I'm going to trust reviews for books like this.
1. No character had a personality. None at all. Every single one was zzz
2. I know what the author was trying to accomplish but truly, they did not accomplish it at all. I wanted more emotion but all I got was a flat story.
3. People compliment the writing style and like ... did we read the same book? It's not that it was terrible but it's certainly nothing to write home about. The cadence was awkward, the dialogue was flat, and certain things included just pulled me out of the story so hard.

dark sad medium-paced

felt like so much of the story leading to the end was so drawn out and i wouldn't have minded it if lucifer's corruption arc and his rebellion weren't so fast-paced and condensed. still, this was so gut-wrenchingly horrific and tragic to read
