The only characters I actually liked were Keegan, Selly and Leander. This book would've been 4 stars, had the beginning of it not been so slow and hard to get into. There were some moments that were boring/unnecessary and some parts were confusing. I also feel like Selly and Leander's romance was too quick and everything happened too fast. I mean, it was slow-burn and I liked their banter but like I think it all happened over a span of 3 or 4 days (?)
In my opinion it would have been better to span over 2 or 3 weeks at least. But I am curious enough to want to know what happens next so I'll be looking out for the next book.
(On a side note: the cover is gorgeous)
