I didn't find this book entertaining at all. It was very cheesy and predictable.

Rosalind is a queen.

The Folger Shakespeare Library provides the authoritative versions of all of Shakespeare's plays. This one is no exception. "As You Like It" is pretty good, after all, it was written by the Bard. But as with many of his comedies, this one relies on word play and puns a great deal for humor, all of which has to be explained. The action is concentrated in the first act and in the last with a slow spot in the middle. But the language is beautiful and here everyone gets what they want. This is probably not your first choice for a Shakespeare play to read but it is one you'll enjoy.
