Extremely in depth biography on Walt. Like… EXTREMELY. I’ve never read a biography/autobiography with such detail. It was amazing reading everything about him and how he came to be who he was.
When to read: Doing a project on individuals who were good leaders, want to live in someone’s shoes for a couple days/weeks, hyper-fixated on Walt Disney or anything Disney.

Amazingly detailed and very even handed - you can see how he is both "Uncle Walt" and the tyrant. Far more about his working life than his personal life, but enough of the personal that you get the gist.
If you're interested in Disney, this is a four or even five star book - definitely read it. If you're not, I'd skip it.

One of the most detailed biographies I've ever read. An incredible insight into one of the most brilliant content creators of the twentieth century.
