I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a good job.

3/29/23 Updated to 4 stars. I still enjoyed the book but I rate my books a bit differently now.
I've been enjoying listening to the books.

So happy with this new addition! Glad we found out who could be trusted and who couldn't be trusted. Glad their future is securely tied and can't wait to see what unfolds next!

I liked this one a bit better than the 2nd, though I've enjoyed all of them so far. I think what made the difference was the addition of new characters that I think could make future books even more interesting and comical, such as Toa and the Mata (shifers). It has future potential, and the possibility to cause some interesting drama.

Yet again, some of it, mostly the larger magical/fighting scenes, were a bit anti-climatic. I don't think that's intentional though. I know that when I write, personally, that my dramatic and/or action scenes seem so amazing and I think "People will love this! It captures exactly what I'm going for!", but when I reread it after a bit, it's not quite as grand as I remembered it because when initially writing it, you're practically living in that scene, and it has a big WOW factor. But, it is still a good read, and none of that detracts too much from the overall reading experience. Enjoyed it and can't wait for the 4th book to come out! :-)

On A Razor's Edge: Darkness Series, Book 3

📖 Ebook

In 'On A Razor's Edge', we get to meet the 'Mata'. They are shape shifters, or just 'shifters' to many of us PnR junkies 😉 Stefan and (Grumpy/Possible Bad Guy?) Jonas, both seem to have massive issues with them that Sasha just doesn't understand! We don't find out why in this book, hmmm 🤔

The Regional and his Mage arrive to measure Sasha's power level, and she is terrified of letting Stefan down!😟 As per usual, her magic doesn't react in the way it should when she does the same magical spells as others. Some scary and hilarious things happen 😆

This is a book of cementing relationships, making new bonds and allies. It is littered with the wondrous humour we love from this author. The twists and turns look like they are going to be coming thick and fast, so I anticipate the next book being tense!😳😍
