I liked this. I like the Lopen. It was a nice low-stakes interlude between chunky complex reads. It did not explain what a Dawnshard is which was frustrating. 

I'm becoming a little fatigued by all the lore and history continuing to pile up in this series without a whole lot of clarification of it all.
