Make sure you have Keeping 13 nearby when you begin Binding 13, because I PROMISE you will not be able to wait to purchase the second book. I made the mistake of purchasing Binding 13 and was so upset that I didn’t get the second book that I ended up buying it on my kindle because I was too frantic to figure out what the hell was going on.
Shannon and Johnny have my freaking heart; I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. This book is so well written with components of everything that I swear I’ve never laughed so hard out loud and cried so much so many times, my emotions were really all over the place. I’ve never been a fan of slow burns, but this one I’ll read again and again. Binding 13 is a slower-paced read, whereas Keeping 13 is medium-paced. I thoroughly enjoyed these two; their stories are both heartbreaking and beautiful.
Shannon starts at Tommen College after having a difficult time at her previous schools and being bullied her entire life, and on her first day there, she meets rugby star Johnny Kavanagh. From the shy and lonely life, she was living with her five brothers and the home she was born into; her life begins to turn around in the most unexpected ways.
⚠️TW: child abuse but I swear... finish both books it’ll be worth it.
You already know I love my mains, but I adore my side characters, GIBSIE! God, I love him so much and Claire, the two best friends of the two main protagonists. SURPRISE SURPRISE! the final book is about them.

This book is the slow burn of all slow burns and it’s so worth it. I will recommend this book to everyone. It’s a book (and series) I will take no criticism on because I think it’s just so beautifully written and the stories of the characters are just how they’re meant to be. Everyone read it!
