I read the Italian translation of this novel. It Is quite poorly translated, and ends up not being very fluent and Easy to read. It Is also quite a simple read, although It gets more engaging as you keep reading.

This was a good read. My family holds grudges just as long and you never know who you’re hurting while you’re trying to protect someone. I feel a lot like Alice… missing a piece.

Beautifully written, poetic and resonant. The characters were well developed and lovable, and I felt what the characters felt. The anuthor takes us on a lovely exploration of grief, trauma, family bonds, identity, and forgiveness.
