This was one of the most dense, in depth & emotional books I have read. At times I felt the author kind of droaned on and on, but overall I really loved it. I felt like I knew every single character & now I’m in desperate need of this to be made into a miniseries.
A modern update to Little Women, this story of 4 sisters and their lives is bittersweet.

This is a lovely book of family dynamics, love, loss, and mental health. Being an only child myself, I found all the family ups and downs to be fascinating. The characters are warm and real, and so engaging that it was difficult to put the book down. It's been compared to Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Perhaps, but a thousand times better.

i dont really know what to say. engaging and beautiful and deeply heartbreaking, even if some events seem farfetched (nyc is less than 3 hours from chicago by plane and nobody cares enough to get on the flight to end a 25yo fight at any point???).

Flew through this book which follows the Padavano sisters… but you knew that from reading the book blurb.
Lovely writing style and complexity of characters — where they are laid bare so we can see their flaws and their beauty. Not one I’d recommend to lots of students — due to the prose and the life stages of the characters — but I read this one for me. Sylvie would approve.
