My experience with this book may have been effected by the fact that I had NOT read the Sandman series.
Once I have done so, I will return to Death and give it a second review.

Gaiman heard "i am half in love with easeful death" and was just like "...yes." Then he made it his mission to ensure we all feel the same way

I love Gaiman’s work. Death was a quick read but a beautifully drawn. I related heavily to Death when I was younger and revisited the series as an adult.
Would recommend to anybody who reads graphic novels.

The Universe is Over, its my job to put it all in order, now, and lock the place behind me as i leave.

This was my favorite Portrait of death from the end of this book, By John J Muth, she looks so real.
The Sound of her wings Review
Facade Review
The High cost of living Review
The time of your life Review
I really enjoyed the small stories in the middle, i also applaud their placement, because in the chronological order of things, these stories, explained some things about the stories after them.
Only down side for me was the chapter from Endless nights, like that's already has been collected why is it here, but whatever, i guess they just wanted to cram everything about Death in this book.
I also enjoyed the art Gallery about Death in the end.
Imagine Death can smile but dream can't!
I don't remember Dream ever smiling honestly.
I also liked the small story about Sexual health in the end, Specially the part About HIV, which everyone should really read, specially the idiots with their stereotypes about everything.

The moment I learned there was a spin off book regarding Neil Gaiman's character Death, I had to pick it up! She is one of my favourites and I loved following her on various adventures with various characters, many of whom were not among the Endless. I adored much of the artwork and found the writing to be stellar as always. I had a hard time picking a favourite story, though I will say that the entire book embodied the spirit of a quirky, honest, and sweetness that has always been the character of Death.

Morbid but it is about Death, so it's to be expected. Gaiman is still thought-provokingly good :)
