“But if you get to be my age and you can’t look back and wonder about some of your choices, you have no imagination.”

Such an ideal premise for a full cast audiobook.

i feel like you HAVE to listen to this as an audiobook. i cannot imagine getting a feel for it on paper as a transcript-only format. the way the voice actors put their whole pussy into this audiobook…. everyone breathed their characters to life!!! i’m looking forward to the TV adaptation but i do already feel like i got one with this audiobook! and yes @margarete… karen hive rise

I listened to this audiobook after a recommendation from a coworker. It was read by a full cast, and it was FANTASTIC. If you're reading this right now, put it down and go borrow a copy of the audiobook. Jennifer Beals! Benjamin Bratt! Pablo Schreiber! You won't be disappointed.

OMG. This is definitely one of those times I am so mad at myself for not reading the book sooner than I did. And now that I finished the book, I am immediately going to watch the show. This book is so good I literally only stopped to get some work that needed to be done ASAP and then got right back into reading. I finished it in less than 24 hours.

Never have I walked away from a story feeling indifferent to almost every character. There are obviously ones I like more than others, but I didn't walk away thinking any character was amazing and was the standout. Even from those we don't get to see a lot from, you still feel their impact on the story. And the open endedness of the possibility that Daisy and Billy might catch up in the current year. Omg.

This book had so many emotions coming out of me. And I am already planning on picking up the rest of Taylor Jenkin Reid's books cause how could I not now. This book is in my opinion a must read. Not just for book lovers but for everyone.

This started as a 4 and then a 3. It came back around to a 4 when she tied it up at the end. I really did end up enjoying it a lot more than I thought! Some excellent quotes that I notated too.

It scared me that the only thing between this moment of calm and the biggest tragedy of my life was me choosing not to do it.
This was a very unique and fun read. I felt like it was a constant heartache at times. This had so many deeper meanings that made this feel so real. Definitely worth picking up and now I'm very excited to watch the TV show
