Great Novella
I loved seeing Georgie & Vektal getting to know each other on a deeper level and see what they thought of the Liz situation. It was a short, fun & steam read!!

It was basically a prolonged epilogue to the previous book. It was good and wrapped up some loose ends which I appreciated.

📚 Book 22/52 of 2024 📚
⭐️ 3/5 stars!
🌶️ 2/3 spice-o-meter!
GENRE: sci-fi romance novella
SUMMARY: Book 1.5 of Ice Planet Barbarians ❄️ (yes, I went backwards upon discovering these novellas existed)
“What happens after happily ever after? Quite a bit, actually. Georgie and Vektal are mated, but Georgie has a few things on her mind before she settles into her new life…”
How cute that these novellas exist! I love epilogue content, so it’s so nice to have these.
🍑 PEACHES & PITS (likes and dislikes) 🍑
peaches:
- sweet resonance 🥺
- really nice to pop back into this OG relationship after just finishing the fourth book
- as much as I kid about these books - even this novella has elements of real plot/character building as Georgie
struggles with something that she seeks Vektal’s help to gain some closure on
pits:
- as Becca & The Books put perfectly on their Goodreads review,
“Ah yes, burying dead bodies... that classic honeymoon activity” 😂 - I cringe that these covers haven’t been redone as the main books have been
✏️ ANNOTATIONS & SPARKLE TEXT ✏️
“I put my cold feet on his leg and he doesn’t even protest. That’s when you know it’s love.”

Was hoping for more honeymooning but enjoyed the story none the less!

Oh my God, this was actually so cute, I loved it. I forgot how much I loved Georgie and Vektal until I read this. I love them so much. I think it was a really cute, fun, easy to read novella, and I can’t wait to read Liz and Raahosh’s novella! Overall, I give it 4.5/5 stars, and I’d probably read it again, just for fun.
