This was an uplifting, wonderful read! I chose it for Week 3 of my Around the Year challenge, A book from the 2017 Goodreads Choice Awards nominees. Despite the dark subject matter, Eleanor has a continuous, inspirational arc. I also appreciated that the story didn't focus on her budding romantic relationship as a trope but instead focused on her just coming into her own. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
