I love a the movie so much and this was an interesting companion to it, but this book rubbed me the wrong way as almost every single of the villains was a person of color and there's just something that felt off and weird about that.

*fictional Priscilla Presley voice* I don't know if I like it...

Tbh I like the movie and Eric Draven as a concept in this graphic novel. But as far as the villains go...I saw a lot of Black men and something about that really rubbed me the wrong way like it was starting to stick out a bit too much....like ok Liam Nelson!

A harrowing story told thoughtfully. The art is gorgeous and the events feel painfully real. O’Barr is a genius.
