This was a really fun read. It’s not too often that you come across a historical fiction book that is both well done and comical. The author took their time making sure the reader loves the characters. Highly recommend this fun read. Looking forward to more by this author.

I have been so doom and gloom with everything in the world lately (need I say more?) and this was the perfect escape. Loved the tension and build up. Usually I'm not a fan of third person narration in romance, but it didn't completely bother me or take me out of the story here.
