What an experience of a book, definitely a unique take on anything else I've ever read. It had my attention and kept it, there are definitely so parts that could be improved upon and didn't really give shivers down my spine, but a well told horror and one I'd happily recommend

An interesting format for a book to be in, and the catalogue pages at the beginning of chapters did add something to the story, but not quite enough for me to *really* consider this experimental fiction, despite the fact that Matt bought it for me because it was on several "best experimental fiction books" lists. The story itself was engaging and there were several moments where I full-body cringed away from the gory descriptions, and it's always nice to have such big reactions to a story. To be honest, I wasn't *blown away* by the story, but it deserves more than 3 stars. And I have to appreciate the retail setting of it all!
