Told through texts, emojis and status updates is the classic story of Scrooge. Told in a way that captures the younger generations attention by writing in a way that is familiar to them.
As soon as I saw that this book was written the way it is I knew I had to check it out, and its just like I thought it was going to be like and I loved it! There something about the writing style that made me want to keep reading and reading until the very last page. It written so that you can enjoy a classic story in a fun way and still get the full story.

I rather enjoyed this silly little retelling. It's nothing world changing, but it does what it means to do and had me laughing.

I have read the original of this several times over, so I know it pretty well. Surprisingly, it followed the core of the text accurately. It is a modernized, parody-esque book that was pretty funny to read. I got it and a bunch of the other OMG classics for a laugh (which I also plan on reading and reviewing) and thought they were hilarious. What an interesting new way to tell classic books. There are a lot of "kid" versions of classics that basically, to me, feel like they are dumbing down the books for children to read and even lose important aspects to the story. This book does neither of those things and the added use of the emojis, the peach, the eggplant, absolutely hilarious. Well done.

I know it's nowhere near Christmas but I dO WHAT I WANT! I feel like these are written by people who think they know what texting is like... but they really don't. You know what I mean?

I loved this quick and quirky edition of Scrooge.  These books are so much fun to read and I like for they have the texting lingo at the back, just in case you can't remember what they are.  Very great for YA book.

These volumes are testing the limits of my text speech savvy so I am glad when I get stumped that I can turn to the glossary in the back of the book to get me over the abbreviations I don't use or recognize. What a great new way to tell a classic tale!!! I will most definitely be reading more books in this style. It makes them so much more fun.

Clever and witty. Clearly A Christmas Carol in its truest medium.
