First A. Christie I've ever read! Shows its very unPC era, but good mystery read.
"Guessing" who's guilty isn't necessarily a good thing while reading the story. However, it was still entertaining to see the techniques used by Agatha Christie to draw attention from the main culprit, while still offering information. I managed to guess who did it and I was close to the reasons, thinking that it was probably something along certain lines. That's as far as I got, but hopefully I'm learning!

First Christie where I’ve entirely guessed the ending. Very satisfying

There are two reasons why I give any book 3 stars. First, the book was satisfyingly boring. Second, I am left with neither praise nor complaints. Both the points check out for Christie's The mirror cracked from side to side (Marple series)
It is a straightforward story (as much as a murder mystery can be) and it isn't hard to notice all the hints. However, Agatha does her favorite trick of giving an equation: a + x = b. Here, the 'a' and 'b' are provided as clues while the 'x' is the motive.
If you manage to notice that 'a' then the story can be boring and lengthy. If you miss the 'a' then the answer will never surface until Agatha unveils it.
So, if you are picking this Miss Marple series next to discover who killed Mrs. Badcock when she was attending a fete and chatting with her favorite actress then make sure to find 'a'.
