Really loved this one and would reread in the future. Just the right balance of family love and romantic love and small town vibes.
I really appreciated that she remained in the city at the end.

I would maybe give this a 3.5/5. It had me utterly invested in the characters but I feel like the ending was rushed. There is also one line toward the end where Charlie says “hot, sexy …” but I wish so bad it was “hot, expensive …” hahaha. I just felt like not everything was tied up so I didn’t feel sated after finishing it. BUT I reallyyy liked it.
