Enjoyed this book and the characters a lot more than the first! Everything starts to make a little more sense.

I really enjoyed this book as a spin off sequel! I admit that I loved these characters more than the ones from These Broken Stars - and not just because the one character is Flynn and there are Irish references throughout! 😅
The plot, the forbidden love, it was all so intriguing. Of course it has sad moments and I felt so much attachment to these 2 characters...

Also loved the little cameo!
Can't wait to read the 3rd book and finish off this trilogy!

I loved this book! It is the sequel to These Broken Stars and takes place on a planet in space. I am in love with the writing!! The inner monologues are amazing! Spooner and Kaufman have really mastered the human emotions and mind. I cant stress this enough- the inner monologues SO DUCKING GOOD!!! THE WORLD BUILDING TOO!! political intruige, morally grey charachters, dystopia, enemies to allies to lovers, multiple POV, strong world building, action, AND EVERYTHING AWESOME!

2020 Reread:
Lilac and Tarver still have my heart but I loved diving deeper into the LaRoux mess.

2019:
Not as good as book one but still really really good!
