It started off fine and I was excited to find out how the characters develop. However, the character development (or lack thereof) and ending was disappointing. To echo what another reviewer said about this book, it was trying too hard to be inspirational or reflective. Any character development was unnatural and forced. It felt like the author was trying to force her ideologies on me.

The masturbation scenes were unnecessary and odd.

Perhaps I'm too dense and missing something, but it sure as hell was not an enjoyable read. I would have dropped the book halfway through if I had not bought it.
