Wow!! Powerful story.
I must admit that I wasn’t feeling this story. I couldn’t connect with Nye, the female lead. I almost threw in the towel. But, babyyyyyyy, I’m so glad I didn’t. This story was sooooooo so good!! I love how Love’s characters are so multidimensional — and she can tell a love story with all the right twists and turns you want in a story. Her books have you swooning and fussing at the same time. And, the male leads in this series?? Yes please.

I just love how you keep all the characters involved. Given the readers an update on what’s going on with them. Launz and anyway story was a roller coaster. Her father was a monster and just threw off her life because he wants to control everything. I loved that they going their way back to each other.

This story beautifully conveyed how the seed of love can be planted at one point in life only to fully bloom at a later point. To me, this is what happened with Nye and Launz. They developed strong feelings for each other many years ago that went forced into a dormant state due to unforeseen circumstances. But once these two reengaged, those feelings came back to life. I loved this story through and through. It was a real, honest, and passionate depiction of what a journey to love looks like. I really didn’t want it to end. Well done, Love Belvin!

I love Love Belvin but this book just wasn’t it for me personally. I loved Launz and loved him getting a second chance opportunity. Nye was very frustrating as a character and I get that a lot of that has to deal with her traumas growing up but it took her forever to grow up and even still she played a very immature game with Launz. The pacing of the story was very fast and honestly made the story hard to get into for me. Overall the bones were there for this story, I just think it deserved a lot more in like two or 3 books on its own.

I absolutely loved this book. The flow was great. Nye and the trauma she dealt with dealing with her father caused so much pain. Launz's pain from the past carried into his adult relationships.
