A bit more economics than I found interesting

I found the endless discussion of economics and trading logistics tiresome. I also found the sexual banter like something from the 20th century, not so much the 23rd.

A very compelling read for fans of speculative fiction. Nathan Lowell is excellent at world-building. The only downside is that there is no climax, and no real antagonist at all. If you're looking for a complicated plot, this is not the book for you. It's more of a record of daily life; the ending hit me rather abruptly since I was waiting for some sort of culmination to happen. Still, I found it highly enjoyable and relaxing to read, and I will probably continue the series.

Not a lot of action or excitement, but a pleasant and enjoyable story.

I though it was fairly good. I liked the premise and the interplay between Pip and Ish. It reminded me of the feel of the Liaden series but it wasn't as nuanced.

I was so excited to find and read this book as a big sci-fi fan, but I was really disappointed to find that nothing really happens. I can appreciate the people who see the fun side of this mundane story but unfortunately it's just not for me.
