I keep reading these but they aren't as good as they used to be. Wish she would create stories around the characters we already know instead of adding more and more new characters.

Mehhhhhhhh……I’m a huge J R Ward fan. I have several signed copies of her books. This one kind of fell flat for me. It wasn’t awful but it definitely wasn’t one of her best works.
It feels like maybe the larger the BDB world gets the more she’s struggling to make these matches. Either way I’ll definitely still be reading!
And honestly it was not even close to the worst book I’ve read this year!

Kinda a tough read here and there but overall a good one. I liked Ericka and Balthazar and there was a lot of bad shit going down. A lot of years and I know the next one (Lassiter's) will tear my heart out, but I can't wait.

DNF - I just can't with Devina. I can't get passed her raping people. She's the reason I never made it through the Fallen Angels series.

What an thrilling, exciting read! Loved Erika and Balthazar, Lassiter and Rahvyn and all the other familiar faces! Definitely an emotional read, in so many ways. Heartbreaking. Evil permeates them and one or two will definitely have a big roll going forward. I cant wait to get Lassiters book in my hands!

Another good BDB book. Loved Balthazar and Erika. But can I just say where is Eddie and Adrian?!? I have been waiting for them to follow through on the Find Lassiter command for years...
