Being a massive fan of Atlas in It Ends With Us, I was so happy that Colleen Hoover wrote a sequel about his and Lily's relationship. If I'm honest, I don't think the book necessarily needed to be written and that was reflected in the lack of plot, but overall I really enjoyed it. I couldn't put it down, I just couldn't get enough of Atlas!

I'm so disappointed in Ryle... I hated him in the first book but I really hoped he would have had some growth since the last book given he was now a dad to a daughter. But no, he's still a piece of shit.
Colleen Hoover does such a good job of highlighting the manipulative behaviour of abusers.

Again, I just love Atlas so much - he's perfect. And Lily is so strong to overcome what she has... Love it - love Colleen Hoover.

I like this better than the first book. I still don't feel that this series is a romance; however Colleen wrote a beautiful story of hope and love after dealing with domestic violence. I hope this series inspires anyone in this situation to leave if they can.

There is a lot of triggers. Physical and child abuse. Atlas explores his shitty relationship with his parents. Overall alot of mature themes.
