I feel like we been knew that I looooove the friends to lovers, and it was one of the reasons why I read it ends with us. When she announced this book I was ready to eat it up. So I did.
Girl, don't ask me for a single plot point of this because I have none, I just like the fluffy nice rosy coloured feelings I get from this.
They're so cheesy and cute together.
Ugh. It hurts.

It was so good!! I didnāt want it to endš
Iām so so happy that Atlas and Lily got their happy ending!! They are perfect together!
If I wasnāt in love with Atlas Corrigan after reading It ends with us, I definitely am now!! How he treats Lily is so so heartwarming and I canāt get enough of him together with Emersonš„¹š„¹
My favorite character is Theo for sure! Heās so funny with his little comments and I love when heās mocking Atlas because of his cheesy words to Lily! I love the relationship he and Atlas has! And I love Josh too!!
I donāt know if I like this one or IEWU more, probably this one because itās not as sad and hurtful but at the same time sad and hurtful books is good in their own way. And Iām also not sure of my rating, itās definitely a four but I need to process it to be able to give it my final ratingš«¶š«¶

WHEN I TELL YOU I READ THIS THROUGH MANY TEARY EYESāwell two eyes. I only have two eyes. But there were many tears on the surface of said eyes. WHATEVER THE CASE, I WAS AND CONTINUE TO BE IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTIONS.
Having read āIt Starts With Usā earlier in the year, and thinking about it nearly everyday since, I was all too eager to dive into this one. I loved that it started right where the original left off. I loved that it gave us the story from Atlasā POV in addition to Lilyās. I loved that it focused on the several different complicated relationships in both of their lives. I loved Atlas + Lily in love in present day. I loved it all.
I appreciated the fact that Hoover didnāt make this sequel one big happily ever after with no hitches or conflicts. Although it was much lighter and much sweeter in overall tone, it didnāt brush over the heavy topics of the first one. It laid out the realities of domestic abuse and child abuse with ironclad honesty. How hard it can be to move on from something so terrible, and how easy it can be to want to forgive for the sake of peace and past feelings.
Hoover is exceptional at injecting her charactersā feelings right into your veins. I felt every bit of emotion being revealed on the pages. From Lily to Atlas to Josh, I felt it. Even Ryle, which really is a testament to how well written the characters are.
And can I just say that Iām sooooooo happy that Lily and Atlasā lives finally started to bloom together in the same place and the same time??!! Ugh. I love their love.
