A multi-generational tale that ultimately feels like a love letter to the written word be it read or performed, I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I enjoyed Dearest Intimate. At times heartbreaking and at others deeply inspiring, the entwined stories of multiple women, the changing landscape of Asia and the arts, love, pain, & everything in between is deeply compelling and reflective.
Moderate: Suicide attempt, War, Colonisation, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Pregnancy, and Alcoholism
Minor: Death of parent, Child death, Car accident, and Death
