I enjoyed this a lot more than the first volume. My only complaint is that we haven't seen the creature yet!

I will be eternally sad we never got a S4, but atleast we have this! This was pretty great; there is nice artwork and an engaging storyline. All the remaining characters (if I’m remembering correctly) make an appearance, how fun is that! So glad we get to see more of Ethan and how he’s dealing with life now. The ending though…
I haven’t watched the show in a while but there was nothing that made the story hard to follow. Can’t wait to read the next one!

I love how dark and terrifying Penny Dreadful is. I loved the tv show and was heartbroken when it ended. This is a fantastic way to keep things going and feeding my need for more!

Good momentum and plot, but really stilted in the dialogue and I wish this wasn't such a blatant Mummy ripoff. The queer and class politics are just right for this adaptation though and King clearly gets how much the show is as much about found families and outsiders as it is satanic mummies.
